An award-winning program for community groups, kindergarten, primary and secondary schools
CoastEd provides opportunity to learn about our coastal areas from qualified, award-winning environmental scientists and industry professionals. In addition to curriculum-based sessions, students can take part in hands-on activities and primary data collection through dune planting, wildlife identification and beach health surveys. Sessions are also available to the wider community such as scout groups, Probus clubs and childcare centres. The CoastEd program seeks to provide valuable information and resources to schools and the community as well as increase awareness and participation in coastal management.
