Expressions Of Interest from Consultants & ContractorsGriffith University has five campuses located at Nathan, Mt Gravatt, Logan, South Bank, and Gold Coast. The University has an ongoing development program which includes construction of major buildings, minor and major renovations of existing buildings, external infrastructure, as well as the ongoing maintenance of its facilities.
Campus Life is responsible for the planning design, construction, operation and maintenance of all buildings and associated services and infrastructure on the University’s five campuses. All capital development is managed by the Planning, Design & Construction Division of Campus Life.
Expressions Of Interest are sought from companies and individuals who are interested in assisting the University to carry out its capital building, refurbishment and maintenance programs. Expressions Of Interest are invited from:
- Professional Consultants (all consultancies)
- Building Contractors for projects more than $100,000
Expressions of Interest (EOIs) may be submitted at any time during the validity period.
The EOIs will be assessed in accordance with the designated criteria. Following that assessment, an EOI may either be accepted, accepted with qualifications, or be rejected. Acceptance of an EOI for registration does not guarantee that a Contractor or Consultant, will be invited to tender or submit proposals for University projects.
All companies or individuals lodging an EOI will be advised if they have been accepted or otherwise for inclusion in the University’s register of approved suppliers.

2. Building Contractors for projects more than $100,000
Building works to be undertaken in this category may involve new buildings or refurbishment / renovations, and may include a full range of building services.
The University will procure works under one of two contractual arrangements depending on the scope and value of the projects. These contractual arrangements and the likely value of the projects under each for which Contractors are to register their interest are as follows;
Lump Sum (Traditional) Contracts
- $100,000 to $250,000
- $250,000 to $1,000,000
- $1,000,000 to $2,000,000
- $2,000,000 to $5,000,000
- Over $5,000,000
Design & Construct Contracts
- Less than $5,000,000
- $5,000,000 to $10,000,000
- $10,000,000 to 25,000,000
- $25,000,000 to $50,000,000
- Over $50,000,000
