"Let us send poverty to the museum" - Professor Muhammad Yunus.

The Yunus Social Business Centre (YSBC) was established by a Memorandum of Understanding between the Yunus Centre, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Griffith University in December 2016.

The YSBC focuses on enhancing business, social entrepreneurship and responsible leadership values at Griffith Business School and strengthening links with students and the wider community.

Pro Vice Chancellor (Business) Professor David Grant has said that entering into a partnership with Professor Yunus through the Yunus Social Business Centre is a natural extension of our commitment to producing the next generation of responsible leaders.

2017 Griffith Lecture

Nobel Peace Prize recipient Professor Muhammad Yunus presented the 2017 Griffith Lecture at the Queensland Conservatorium on Tuesday, April 11.

In his address, Professor Yunus outlined his famous Three Zeros theory - zero poverty, zero unemployment and zero net carbon emissions.
