Griffith Business School's biggest professional development activities include:
Preparing for Success Program
Held annually, our Preparing for Success program will equip you with the skills necessary to succeed throughout your final year(s) of study, and into your career.
Industry visits, site visits, simulations and more
Throughout the year, we host visits from professional firms, where students can meet industry representatives and learn more about the work of each organisation. We also work with firms such as AGL and QIC to deliver smaller simulation activities for selected students. As dates for these activities change each year, information is usually shared to students directly via email, on CareerBoard, and on Learning@Griffith.
Students are also encouraged to join student clubs and associations and attend School and GBS Alumni Network events to expand professional networks, develop communication skills and build career opportunities.
Other professional development opportunities
- Careers and Employment Service - career counselling, industry mentors and more
- Academic writing, computing and library research skills training - develop computer literacy and writing/researching skills
