Executive Manager, Griffith Business School
ResponsibilitiesThe Executive Manager is a key leadership role within the Business Group, and reports to the Pro Vice Chancellor (Business).
- Responsible to the Pro Vice Chancellor and the Group Executive for the provision of leadership, supervision and best practice in the delivery of a range of strategic and operational objectives for the Group. Conceptualise, develop and review strategies for the Group which promote Griffith Business School, its constituent elements, and its diverse offerings to external (and internal) stakeholders.
- Responsible for the Group’s marketing, recruitment, development and engagement, and associated budget, supervision of the work of administrative and professional staff associated with the communications, profiling and engagement functions of the Pro Vice Chancellor’s office, coordination of the administrative functions and workloads of the Office, and management and coordination of the development of administrative staff including identification of staff development requirements and opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with other key staff including the Group Pro Vice Chancellor, Deans, Research Centre Directors, Heads and Deputy Heads of Departments, Program Directors, First Year Advisors, and academic and administrative staff in achieving key strategic outcomes.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining key strategic, collaborative partnerships, both internal and external to the Group and the University, with a variety of stakeholders involving high level liaison with a variety of executive stakeholders.
