BiographyFrank re-joined Griffith University in July 2016 as Director, Corporate Education, Griffith Business School.
He has extensive experience in management education having first joined Griffith Business School in 2006 as Director of Executive Development. In August of 2009 he left that position retaining an adjunct appointment as an Associate Professor in the Business School where, as a Program Director he was, and remains, responsible for a post graduate leadership and management program.
In the seven years between 2009 and 2016 Frank ran his own consultancy practice providing management education to a range of clients including the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Health, UnitingCare Health, UnitingCare Queensland and the International Water Centre.
He has a Masters degree in innovation and change management, plus a Masters degree in marketing specialising in corporate branding, internal communications and services marketing. He has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Integrated Human Studies an interdisciplinary, future-focused program exploring the complexity of the human condition, human origins, cultures and society and the influence of historical and future technological change on human wellbeing and global sustainability.
Currently he is undertaking doctoral research into how managers play a creative role fostering and delivering innovation in organisations.
Prior to his move into management education Frank had 25 years with large corporate organisations as both a senior executive and external consultant. As a corporate executive his experience includes positions in healthcare, banking, a world exposition, tourism, pharmaceutical wholesaling and tertiary education.
As a consultant his clients included organisations from State government services, healthcare, tertiary education, finance and insurance, rural supply, land development, real estate, local government, pharmacy chains, State government lotteries, FMCG, and a wide range of tourism operators including a major theme park.
