Gold Coast business and the Commonwealth Games: Impact, legacy and opportunity
On Friday 28 July, members of the Gold Coast business community and experts from Griffith University, and state and local government, gathered for the launch of the Friends of Griffith Business School report 'Gold Coast business and the Commonwealth games: Impact, legacy and opportunity'.
Understanding the impact of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games is crucial for the business community, especially for those operating small and medium sized private enterprises. Guests were invited to network with experts and formulate plans to be Games-ready. Discussions centred on branding and social media, visitors, logistics, and leveraging at a coordinated level.
Griffith Business School aims to provide research for Gold Coast businesses that is rigorous yet practical. Authored by Dr Joan Carlini and Professor Andrew O'Neil, this report aims to assist businesses to maximise the opportunities presented by the Games.
If you would like to enquire about student internship opportunities, potential research collaborations, relevant educational programs, or about employment opportunities for our graduates, please submit your enquiry via the link below.
