Griffith Business School recognises that as a secondary school teacher, you play a vital role in assisting your students in their transition to tertiary studies. The GriffithBUSINESS program offers a series of Professional Development workshops to support you in providing a curriculum which is up-to-date with current practice.
Our Professional Development program provides significant linkages between the Queensland High School curriculum offered by the Queensland Studies Authority, and the tertiary environment.
A certificate of participation will provide you with evidence of your professional development and you will have the opportunity to attend a short networking session following the topic presentation. We also encourage educators to share any ‘best practice’ ideas at these events and welcome you to mention your willingness to do so when forwarding your RSVP.
Seminars with a focus on social entrepreneurship and innovation will be offered each school term, and streamed live to support your ability to participate.
Seminar dates and topics will be advised prior to each event. Teachers are encouraged to register attendance based on interest in each topic. Attendance may be either on campus or via live stream participation.
RSVPs close one week prior to each event.
