Department alongside world’s best
The Department continues to cement it’s place among the world’s best with great results in the latest ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, where Griffith placed second in the world for Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Further, in the annual 2017 QS World University Rankings by Subject, Griffith ranked number one in Australia and number nine in the world for Hospitality and Leisure Management.
'This is an excellent reflection of the high standards we set at Griffith Business School and how we strive to meet these standards. A major event like next year’s Games will bring the hospitality and leisure management industry on the Gold Coast into sharp focus, and Griffith University is strongly positioned to inform discussions in this space while also capitalising on unique research opportunities,' Head of the Department of Tourism, Sport and Hotel Management, Professor Graham Cuskelly, said.
