The South Pacific is home to Australia, therefore the problems, challenges and stability of the region is paramount to Australia’s national security. The South Pacific Centre for Central Banking, partnered with financial institutions in the region, are building human capital and professional capacity of staff through various events and training programs.

South Pacific Central Banks Virtual Governors’ Forum

The inaugural forum brings together South Pacific central banks’ Governors to share with academics, policy makers, regulators, multilateral organisations, business leaders, civil society, from the South Pacific, Australasia and the wider Asia-Pacific region, the economic and financial opportunities and challenges of COVID19 to the Pacific Island countries (PICs).
