The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice hosts an annual Careers Evening at the Mt Gravatt and Gold Coast campuses. We invite anyone who is interested in studying criminology to come along and hear alumni talk about their current job positions and how they got into the criminal justice field. Criminology is a growing field of employment with a range of career outcomes in government, non-government and not-for-profit organisations. We have alumni working in a variety of fields from law enforcement and intelligence to courts and corrections, policy and community welfare.

The evening will start with an exciting panel discussion where our alumni will talk about their exciting careers in state and federal policing, anti-corruption bodies, the corporate world and beyond. You will then have the opportunity to speak one on one with our alumni after the panel. Representatives from industry bodies who recruit our graduates will also be there after the panel discussion so you can make your way from booth to booth learning about the different career paths a criminology graduate may take.
