Join a vibrant and innovative community of creative thinkers

QCA Live connects QCA, Griffith University and our international partners to provide an interdisciplinary foundation for learners who are seeking an edge in their future practice.

Course offerings displayed here are open to QCA, Griffith University and our international Study Abroad students.

As a Griffith student you can go global with a learning experience that is fully structured and supported by a dedicated Global Mobility team. You can spend as little as one week or as long as one year overseas. Due to COVID-19, Griffith University has suspended all outgoing student international mobility for the immediate term. However, we hope to support global opportunities in the near future and will add these below as they become available.

Student feedback: Painting and Observation 2690QCA

"I love the weekly exercises! They are designed to really make you think about your painting and observe. Painting one or more paintings each week really helps to improve my confidence in painting and coming up with ideas and concepts. All of the lecturers are working professionals and they are all obviously passionate about art and helping others to learn."

"This course had the advantage of ... being designed for an online format from the start. The interactive nature of the online lectures is great and encourages attendance at the set times. Lectures are well-organised and varied by staff and guests. Tutorials are well run and provide interactive feedback within the tutorial group. Weekly tasks are varied and provide opportunities for individual experimentation and development. It would form a good model for designing any future online studio-based courses."

"This is the best example for online delivery. I would recommend this as a model for any online-studio based courses."
