When to accept

Your journey to study at Griffith University starts when you accept your offer. It is important that you have enough time to plan your move to Australia and arrive on campus for the start of your trimester. You should plan to arrive on campus for Orientation Week, which is one week before classes start.

1. Accept offer

Once you accept your offer, you will then need to pay your total deposit fee. Once you have accepted and paid, you will be issued with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).

2. Apply for visa

Use your CoE to apply for a Student Visa. Global visa processing times may vary, so it’s important to apply early so this doesn’t delay your plans to fly to Australia.

3. Book flights

Booking your flights early may help you secure a cheaper rate and ensures you are in Australia on-time to commence your studies at Griffith.

4. Find housing

There are a number of options you can explore to find housing to suit your needs. Be sure to book accommodation early, as places can fill up quickly.

5. Plan your orientation

Orientation Week commences one week before your classes start. It is your opportunity to make new friends, tour your campus and get ready for your studies.

6. Arrive in Australia

Apply for free* airport reception, which takes you from the airport directly to your Australian accommodation. *Conditions apply
