Embedded within Brisbane's cultural heart and the picturesque South Bank Parklands, this prestigious campus is our creative and performing arts hub.  It encompasses the Queensland College of Art, one of Australia’s oldest and most advanced fine art and design colleges; the Griffith Film School—Australia’s largest; the Queensland Conservatorium, one of Australia’s leading music schools; and the Griffith Graduate Centre.

There are two libraries at our South Bank campus: one at the Queensland College of Art and Design and the other at Queensland Conservatorium. All of our libraries offer study zones, computers and Wi-Fi.

Performance and exhibition spaces

Queensland Conservatorium houses a 600-seat theatre, 200-seat recital hall and 150-seat orchestral hall. Queensland College of Art and Design features a range of galleries and public exhibition spaces, cinema and conference facilities, a multimedia art gallery, artist residences and some of Australia's most modern and versatile studios.

Research and graduate centres

Our South Bank campus is home to the Griffith Centre for Creative Arts Research and the Queensland Conservatorium Centre research facilities. South Bank also contains the Griffith Graduate Centre, which offers an inner-city location for postgraduate students in the Griffith Business School, Griffith Law School and School of Arts, and includes seminar and lecture rooms as well as state-of-the-art learning centre.
