In 1935, physicist Erwin Schrodinger proposed a thought experiment, now known as ‘Schrodinger’s cat’, to indicate the paradoxical nature of the wave/particle duality of quantum superposition. In Schrodinger’s experiment, the unfortunate cat finds itself in the position of being dead and alive.
