David is the Creative Director of Liveworm — the award-winning Visual Communication studio of the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. Liveworm is a key component of the Visual Communication Design program, providing a mentored and guided learning space in which students can experience and learn from working on 'live' design briefs before graduation.
He is a past graduate of QCA and was awarded the Design Institute of Australia's Best Graphic Design Portfolio in his graduating year. David has since gained experience as a designer in several agencies specialising in corporate branding and communications. His research interests include investigating how design activism and design futures thinking can be incorporated into a current Visual Communication studio. He is also a member of the Australian Graphic Design Association.
