Dr. Jennifer Loy has recently taken over the Product Design degree at Griffith University after working as a Program Director in Interior Design (UTAS) and Research Fellow for the Centre for Sustainable Architecture with Wood.
She has a PhD in Industrial Design with a focus on the changing role of the industrial designer with the growing sustainability imperative and considerable experience in designing for mass production and batch production, with a particular focus on furniture. Jennifer has been involved in a wide range of design work from rapid prototyping for innovative electrical products, through award winning sculptural work, mass produced furniture ranges for retail and commercial design, interior products such as shop fitting, office design and exhibition design to construction products for projects in Australia, the UK, Europe and Japan.
