Arts educator, curator, arts administrator and arts historian Craig Douglas has practised as a curator since 1977. He began teaching in 1973, joining the Queensland College of Art in the early 1980s. Craig was the Foundation Director of the QCA Gallery. He has curated a broad range of visual arts exhibitions in Australia and overseas. He has provided specialist consultative services to a number of arts organisations, local and state governments throughout Australia and community groups. Craig has served on a number of boards including the Regional Galleries Association of Queensland, the Queensland Artworkers Alliance and the Brisbane Festival. His doctorate focussed on regional arts.
