We partner and collaborate with many organisations and groups both nationally and internationally including the Queensland Centre for Photography (QCP).
QCP is an artist-run not-for-profit organisation with the purpose to foster, develop and promote contemporary photography, photographers and the public understanding of photo-based practices. Located on the corner of Cordelia Street and Russell Street in South Brisbane, QCP is open and free to the public Wednesdays – Saturdays 10am-5pm and Sundays 11am-3pm.
The organisation has five main focuses; the exhibition program, the publication program, the educational program, the international program and the biennial Queensland Festival of Photography.
The partnership between the QCP and Griffith University started in 2003 when the organisation was founded by students, staff and alumni of the University. Since then the two institutions have worked closely together; partnering on exhibitions for QCA students and staff, sponsoring publications (Joachim Froese and Renata Buziak monographs) and the Queensland Festival of Photography, as well as exporting Queensland artists to the US market through yearly participation at the Photo Los Angeles Art Exposition since 2007. The current exhibitions include photos by Sancintya Simpson, a current QCA student, and Alix Perry, who graduated from the Bachelor of Photography (honours) last year.

In 2009, the QCP moved its venue from Bulimba to South Brisbane, offering seven gallery spaces including dedicated video spaces. This close proximity to the art college resulted in a closer relation within the educational program, with QCP offering QCA students a Work Integrated Learning course in curatorship within the gallery and informal mentorships through volunteer positions.
