Course Outline
This course will ensure that students understand the historical development of visual editing and the significant role it plays in audience manipulation. By examining time proven methods and styles of editing, students will become highly educated consumers of visual messages and be able to apply this knowledge to the development video editing style. This course will introduce students to Final Cut Pro.
Required Materials
Students are to supply their own:
- External Firewire Hard-drive
- Notebook and pen
- Any of your own image files that you wish to work on (recommended)
Information
Teacher: Anthony Hamilton
Tony is a graduate from the photography program at QCA, and is currently completing a Masters of Fine Art in film production with the Griffith Film School. He has a interest in film as art, as works closely with SECAP. His work has been projected at Fort Lytton, Woodford Folk Festival, and there are several projects scheduled for show during 2011.
