Back to the Queensland College of Art
2011 marks the 40th anniversary of the Queensland Parliament’s passage of the Griffith University Act to establish South East Queensland’s second university. Griffith was to be a different type of university, deeply engaged with and responsive to its region – locally, nationally, and internationally. Forty years on, we have made significant progress in building one of the great, research-intensive, comprehensive universities of the Asia Pacific.
The Queensland College of Art, on both the South Bank and Gold Coast campuses are very proud of our alumni and to mark this milestone we invited our alumni and staff to come back to campus and celebrate with us on September 8th, 2011.
It was a fantastic night with edible art on display created by a selection of local Brisbane and Gold Coast chefs in conjunction with current QCA students.
