This publication was produced for the 2005 exhibition at Dell Gallery@QCA. The exhibition toured extensively throughout Australia to 10 venues. First edition sold out. Second edition now available. Gordon Bennett - Out of Print
This publication was produced for the first extensive public exhibition of printed matter by the high-profile graduate of Queensland College of Art. It traces the Gordon's move away from traditional and labour-intensive printmaking techniques into the digital realm of computer generated printing and his various motivations for the move out of print, into the print-out. Jon Cattapan - Possible Histories: Valley Nights
In September 2008, Jon Cattapan was on an artist-in-residence program organised by the Fine Art area of Queensland College of Art and Griffith Artworks. The project culminated with the unveiling of a major new work, at the DELL Gallery@QCA, his largest painting to date. From the Depths of Suburbia Photo-media from Auckland
This publication has been produced for the current exhibition at QCA Gallery. The exhibition draws on elements of staged, documentary and Dadaist photography, this group of Auckland-based artists use photo-media to explore both universal and particular aspects of suburban culture. Juan Davila - Graphic!
In 2007 Melbourne-based Chilean artist Juan Davila featured prominently across all three venues at Documenta XII, one of the world's great surveys of contemporary art, held every five years in the German city of Kassel. It was a global nod of respect for a practice centred on frank investigations into sexual and personal identity politics, yet Davila's work is seldom seen in Queensland. This exhibition, organised by Griffith Artworks will survey key images across the field of graphics, beginning in the late 1970s through to 2009.
