The Challenge encourages students to stretch the boundaries of their imagination by conceptualising, modelling and generating a project within a specified time frame. The categories are:
Open: (all age groups)

- 3-Dimensional Design
- Architectural Design
- Photography
- Flash Games Development
- Experimental Film/Animation
- Documentary Film
- Drama Film
- Screenplay
Junior: (Years 8 - 10)
- Junior Graphic
- Junior 3-Dimensional
- Junior Animation
- Junior Photography
- Junior Documentary Film
- Junior Drama Film
- Junior Screenplay
Each student team will undertake a specified challenge typical of a real project in industry. Students will be evaluated on how they articulate and communicate their ideas towards the realisation of a solution, based upon industry expectations and requirements.
