Standard semesters

The following dates are for enrolment in programs offered during standard semesters.

Last date to add a course Sunday, 11 March 2012
Census date Sunday, 25 March 2012
Last date to drop a course without academic penalty Monday, 30 April 2012

Last date to add a course Sunday, 5 August 2012
Census date Sunday, 19 August 2012
Last date to drop a course without academic penalty Sunday, 30 September 2012

Courses added to your enrolment after 11 March 2012 (for semester 1, 2012) or 5 August 2012 (for semester 2, 2012) will incur a $50 late enrolment fee per course. To check if you are eligible for late enrolment, please see Section 7.0 of the Student Administration Policy.

If you withdraw from a course after the census date, you will incur financial liability for the course. This will be recorded as a "W" on your academic transcript but is not counted in the calculation of your Grade Point Average.

If you withdraw from a course after 30 April (for semester 1) or 30 September (for semester 2), you will incur financial liability and academic liability for the course. This will be recorded as a "WF" on your academic transcript and will affect the calculation of your Grade Point Average.

Open Enrolment

Griffith University is currently reviewing the enrolment process.  To find out more information about the new enrolment process including important dates for Open enrolment, please visit griffith.edu.au/open-enrolment.

Griffith Business School accelerated programs/School of Medicine

The above dates will not apply for the accelerated programs offered by the Griffith Business School at Logan or the students enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery program. Important enrolment dates for these  programs are available on the Academic calendar site.

Undergraduate Commonwealth Supported Places at Griffith University through Open University Australia

The above dates will not apply to 1023 Bachelor of Arts, 1245 Bachelor of Communication and 1384 Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice offered by Griffith University through Open University Australia. Census dates for these programs are displayed below:
