To find the credit point value of the course and the student contribution band, you will need to browse Griffith University's programs and courses website to find your particular program.
Firstly, refer to the non-standard enrolment load list to find the full-time load. In this example, the full-time load for the Bachelor of Forensic Science/Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice is 86.25CP.The next step is to find the student contribution band and credit point value for your chosen course.
To find the other pieces of information, you will need to refer to the program structure.
Find the course you are interested in, and click on the Catalogue Nbr link, which will take your through to the Course Catalogue information for that course.
On this page you will find the Student Contribution band and the workload units (credit points) for that course.
So to calculate your student contribution, you will need to find out the cost per credit point for your course.
Divide $7260 (the student contribution charge for band 2) by 86.25 (the full-time load for your program). The result of $84.17 is the cost per credit point.
Next, multiply $84.17 (the cost per credit point) by 10 (the number of credit points for the course 1005BPS Cell Biology).
A Commonwealth Supported student who commenced the Bachelor of Forensic Science/Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2008, studying the course 1005BPS Cell Biology would pay a student contribution charge of $841.70.
