Managing Diversity (7420MGT)
This course equips managers to harness the potential of an increasingly diverse workforce including cultural, gender, disability and age differences. The practical application of theory will be facilitated through problem based learning groups, case studies and research on organisations.
It responds to the challenges faced by human resource and other managers in dealing effectively with an increasingly diverse workforce including cultural, gender, disability and age differences. The diversity management knowledge and skills required by managers in the global business environment are complex and specific, and this course directly addresses these needs. Organisations that hope to obtain competitive advantage through innovation must harness the rich potential that a diverse workforce offers. Diversity management is the means to access that potential.
