Griffith University DNA Sequencing Facility

Two female staff in the labThe Griffith University DNA Sequencing Facility was established in 1993. The GUDSF offers customers a capillary electrophoresis only service for DNA Sequencing and Fragment Analysis using the Applied Biosystems 3130xl Genetic Analyser. This service requires the customer to perform the fluorescent labelling reaction and prepare the reaction products for capillary electrophoresis.

The GUDSF operates with a commitment to providing independent, high quality and competitively priced DNA analyses for Griffith University and external investigators.


NATA/RCPA Accreditation

The GUDSF is accredited to ISO 15189:2003 by the National Association of Testing Authorities, in conjunction with The Royal College of Pathologists of Australia, in the field of Medical Testing for DNA Sequencing Analysis and Fragment Analysis. Date of Accreditation: 15 July 2003. NATA/RCPA Accreditation Number: 14814.
