  • Student News. Publishing a paper in an internationally prestigious journal is a milestone in any research career. The Centre's students, who are undertaking Research Higher Degree programs, are enthusiastically working towards and achieving these goals. But two have recently made outstanding leaps:

  • Local Newspaper 23 April 2008: Ms. Samantha Joyce, who is currently completing an Honours degree in Photonics and Nanoscience, was featured in 'The Southern Star' (Springwood) Newspaper - Issue 23/04/2008, p19
  • Television 28 May, 2008: Queensland researchers have developed the worlds most accurate measuring device. Griffith University scientists have created a device which does not damage biological material, and which uses less light than other technology.
    The news was screened on Channel 10 'News at 5'. Centre Director, Professor Howard Wiseman and Centre Quantum Physicists, Dr. Geoff Pryde were interviewed by Channel 10 News Reporters, Georgina Lewis and Bill Macdonald.
