The Science Experience 2012 Gold Coast

The Science Experience will be held at Griffith University, Gold Coast campus on 10-12 January, 2012.

Any student who has completed grade 9 in 2011 and who is going into grade 10 or 11 in 2012 is eligible to attend.

The National Science Experience Directorate handles all registration, vacancies, and can can arrange accommodation for students attending from remote areas.

Griffith Eng Year 11 and Year 12 program

Get ahead of the pack with the accelerated engineering program. The program enables high-achieving students to complete a recognised first year Griffith Engineering subject over two years while studying Year 11 and Year 12.

We are looking for students who have a genuine interest in Engineering.

Eligible students must be studying Maths B and English.

Cutting Edge Professional Learning Day

Tuesday 29th November 2011

The day aims to develop participant confidence with regards to knowledge and skills in the areas of cutting edge science and science education in order to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes in the classroom setting.  The Cutting Edge Science Professional Learning Day is a partnership between Griffith University, The Department of Education and Training (DETA) and The Science Teachers Association of Queensland (STAQ). The Chief Scientist for Queensland, Professor Geoff Garrett will be presenting the key note address.
