Bachelor of Marine Science

Management of water resources, climate change, food production and waste management are intimately connected with the marine environment – humans last frontier to explore, exploit and manage.

Griffith’s new Bachelor of Marine Science will prepare students for fascinating careers relating to coastal management and engineering, aquaculture and marine conservation.

Bachelor of Science (Water Resources)

In 2008, Griffith will introduce a B Science (Water Resources) at Nathan and the Gold Coast, to meet the growing demand for professionals in water resource management, aquatic ecosystems and monitoring and improving water quality.

The only undergraduate degree of its kind in Australia, Griffith graduates will provide leadership in developing solutions to Australia’s water challenges.

Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning

The cities of the future need planners that can balance environmental values with vibrant and sustainable built environments. To meet the critical nation-wide shortage of skilled planning professionals, Griffith University offers the Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning.

This unique degree combines environmental studies and urban planning to equip students to plan and manage our urban environments in the future.

Bachelor of Engineering

Bachelor of Information Technology @ Work

Griffith’s Bachelor of Information Technology @ Work addresses the critical skills shortage in IT and reflects current industry needs for workforce-ready graduates.

Students complete a foundation year within the Bachelor of IT, then work full-time in the local IT industry over the next three years, while undertaking intensive study units over summer.

Bachelor of Medical Science

This program provides high-achieving secondary school leavers with an intensive two-year degree that offers guaranteed entry into the Griffith Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery for students that maintain a high grade point average.
