What is Science Technology and Society?
Science, technology and society involves the study of science and technology in their social contexts. It is an interdisciplinary study of the historical, social, economic, political and philosophical dimensions of science and technology, including such areas as
- the history, philosophy and sociology of science
- the political economy of technology
- social control of biomedical advances
- Australian science and technology policy
- energy and resources policies
- science and technology in economic development
