Supporting the National Centre for Adult Stem Cell Research will help our scientists uncover the causes and possible treatments for such neurobiological conditions as Spinal Cord Injury, Parkinson’s disease, Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia and Schizophrenia.

Dr Alejandra Vitale, a Post Doctoral Fellow in the System Biology Group conducts an experiment in the Centre laboratories

You will be helping to support leading scientists and gifted young PhD students in their quest to develop better understanding of diseases and in exploring the use of adult stem cells to provide improved diagnostics and treatment possibilities.

Scientific exploration requires dedicated scientists working with the best equipment to produce world-leading results. This is costly but the Centre is unique in the world in its cell resources and clinically applied approach.

There are many ways you can support the research of the National Centre for Adult Stem Cell Research including scholarships for young students, fellowships for early- to mid-career researchers and donations for equipment and experimental costs. Please call us to discuss your particular area of interest and ways you might help our research.
