GUESTS Program

Year 12 students

The Griffith University Early Start to Tertiary Study program offers you the opportunity to sample university life by allowing you to study a single course (subject) at university while you are in semester one or two of year 12.

Upon the commencement of your degree in the following year, you will receive full credit for the course and it will then count towards the requirements of your degree program.

Unireach program

Year 12 students

The Unireach program aims to give students at selected Brisbane and Gold Coast secondary schools assistance in improving their academic performance to gain entry to Griffith. Students are selected with the support of principals, teachers and guidance officers.

Griffith Eng

Year 11 and 12 students

Griffith Eng Year 11 and Year 12 Program is a two-year part-time course designed for year 11 and 12 students who want to get a head start on an engineering career.

Griffith Eng Year 11 and Year 12 Program incorporates practical classes, hands-on laboratories, demonstrations and lectures which add value to your secondary school subjects and enables you to experience an integrated university course whilst completing your senior studies.

On successful completion of both parts of the program, and with necessary pre-requisites, Guaranteed Admission arrangements to Griffith University Engineering Programs will be made with

  • 100% Credit for the completion of this course
  • reduction in Workload for 1st Semester
  • HECS-HELP Savings
  • Griffith Eng Year 11 and Year 12 Program


Campus tours and school visits

Year 8-12 students

We can organise for promotional staff including current Engineering students to attend your school or organisation to deliver an interactive presentation on Engineering careers and the highlights of our programs.

Alternatively, tours of the Engineering facilities and teaching areas can be arranged.
