Physics research lecture series
Public lectures
The Physics 1A Seminar Series showcases some of the exciting physics research conducted at Griffith University. The lectures are delivered at a first year student level and are open to the public. Visit the seminar series website to find out when the seminars will be held.
GUESTS Program
Year 12 students
The Griffith University Early Start to Tertiary Study program offers you the opportunity to sample university life by allowing you to study a single course (subject) at university while you are in semester one or two of year 12.
Upon the commencement of your degree in the following year, you will receive full credit for the course and it will then count towards the requirements of your degree program.

Unireach program
Year 12 students
The Unireach program aims to give students at selected Brisbane and Gold Coast secondary schools assistance in improving their academic performance to gain entry to Griffith. Students are selected with the support of principals, teachers and guidance officers.

Griffith Chem
Year 11 and 12 students
Griffith Chem is a two year program that provides students with the opportunity to study a Griffith University chemistry course while undertaking Senior Chemistry at High School.
Academy of Science, Cavendish Road State High School Guaranteed Entry Program
Selected students of the Academy of Science can undertake 1010BPS Cell Biology and/or 1200BPS Accelerated Maths as part of their senior curriculum and on successful completion of these courses, obtain guaranteed entry* into selected programs within the School of Biomolecular & Physical Sciences. On entry to the degree program students will be granted 10 credit points for 1010BPS and/or 10 credit points for 1200BPS.
*must also meet other entry requirements for the degree program
Glycomics VIP Student Day
Year 10, 11 and 12 students
This unique and innovative day-long event is designed to provide enthusiastic students, who are excited about science, invention and discovering new drugs to cure disease, the opportunity to participate in a series of hands on lab activities in conjunction with one of Queensland’s premier biomolecular research facilities, the Institute for Glycomics at Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus.

Eskitis VIP Student Day
Year 10, 11 and 12 students
The Eskitis VIP Student Day is a day-long event designed to give enthusiastic students who are interested in a career in biomolecular research, or simply those students wanting to gain a better understanding of what Drug Discovery entails, the opportunity to experience this first hand in one of Queensland’s premier biomolecular and biomedical research facilities, the Eskitis Institute for Cell & Molecular Therapies at Griffith University’s Nathan campus.

Campus tours and school visits
Year 8-12 students
We can organise for promotional staff including current students to attend your school or organisation to deliver an interactive presentation on careers and the highlights of our programs.
Alternatively, tours of our facilities and teaching areas can be arranged.
