Clinical science is the study of the scientific disciplines and approaches that underpin clinical practice. It can be studied as part of the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science (Advanced) at the Nathan campus.
For postgraduate students, we offer a Master of Clinical Science with specialisations in Clinical Physiology and Clinical Microbiology. These programs provide in-depth clinical training and offer professional experiences through participation in industry-based projects.
The Clinical Microbiology stream will train you to undertake and accept responsibility for the array of diagnostic procedures required in clinical and public health microbiology laboratories.
The Clinical Physiology stream will train you to make physiological measurements in a clinical situation and to aid the diagnosis of disease and the management of patients, with emphasis on an understanding of physiological and pathophysiological processes.
