School of Psychology

The School of Psychology, located in the Faculty of Health, offers a range of accredited Bachelors, Honours, Masters and Research Higher Degree programs on both the Gold Coast and Mt Gravatt campuses. The School offers an excellent teaching, learning and research environment and has internationally recognised and award winning staff.

We have designed our degrees so that our students are able to not only fulfil professional requirements but also select the pathway best suited to their strengths and interests. We are committed to helping our students succeed with their studies and enjoy the experience of being at University. We offer an integrated program of support in first year, provide opportunities for undergraduate students to gain work-related and research experience, and encourage our students to contribute to the School.

The School is engaged in an extensive program of research activities in areas such as clinical, organisational, health, social, developmental and cognitive-neuropsychology. An engaged and diverse community of postgraduate and doctoral students conducts research projects across the discipline of psychology under the supervision of experienced academic staff.
