Griffith Business School Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship
Griffith Business School is pleased to announce the introduction of postgraduate coursework scholarships in semester 1, 2010. With a range of high quality postgraduate programs available, many unique to Griffith, we look forward to welcoming suitable candidates.
Programs of study
Any Graduate Certificate or Masters coursework program hosted by the Griffith Business School in 2010.
Eligibility
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
Applicants must have submitted an application for admission in to a Griffith Business School postgraduate coursework program and must meet the entry requirements for the selected program.
Applicants must not be in receipt of any form of financial support related to study from another company or organisation.

Number of scholarships available
Selection of candidates is conducted through a competitive process; therefore the number of recipients will depend on the quality of applicants.

Selection criteria
Selection is based upon fulfilment of at least one of the following criteria:
- Reasons for undertaking the proposed program of study, such as your academic and career goals.
- Demonstrated leadership or management qualities.
- Academic merit or other outstanding achievements.
- Demonstrated commitment and evidence of long-term contribution to supporting disadvantaged individuals and or communities.
- Economic or social barriers, such as financial hardship.
Terms and conditions
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia and eligible to apply for any Griffith Business School postgraduate coursework programs at the Masters or Graduate Certificate level.
The scholarship will be forfeited for if the recipient:
- changes their program of study to a program offered by another faculty
- cancels their enrolment in the program; or
- fails any course in the program.
- If a recipient of a scholarship changes their program of study to another postgraduate coursework program offered by the Griffith Business School, the scholarship will be retained.
- The scholarship will be paid in full directly to the student on successful completion of all courses required for their chosen program of study, which means that they must have a graduation status of ‘Approved’.
- Scholarships are not transferable to other students in any circumstances.
- The Griffith Business School reserves the right not to award all or some of the scholarships in a given year.
- Applications must be received by the closing date, 31 January for Semester 1 and 30 June for Semester 2 annually.
