Established in 2000 through a gift from ACCENTURE, for the purpose of encouraging students applying for, or presently enrolled in a Griffith University undergraduate academic program undertaking, or proposing to undertake studies in the area of Information Systems. 

Programs of study

Students are eligible to apply for the Bursary when they are undertaking studies in the following programs:

  • Bachelor of Business Information Systems - Nathan campus [1360] and Gold Coast campus [1361]
  • Bachelor of Information Technology - Gold Coast [1109] and Nathan campuses [1042]
  • Bachelor of Information Technology (Advanced with Honours) - Gold Coast and Nathan campuses [1331]
The Bursary is valued at $1000 paid in a one-off cash payment. Payment will be made after the census date of the first semester.  

Eligibility and selection criteria

Selection will be based on the following criteria:
  • academic merit
  • a statement of the applicant’s interest in the area of Information Systems
  • participation of extra curricular activities and involvement in the community
  • applicants must be Australian citizens or have Australian residency status.
The Bursary will be conditional upon the student maintaining full-time enrolment. The recipient must be prepared to represent the University as an Accenture Bursary winner at a limited number of functions if required and promote Accenture to fellow students.
