URS Scholarship

URS is an international engineering and environmental services firm. URS designs engineering solutions for water and infrastructure projects and manages our clients’ environmental requirements, risks and reputation.

URS has established two Engineering scholarships, $7500 each, to be awarded to two final year Engineering students covering one calendar year. The successful applicants will have high academic achievement, environmental, ethical and humanitarian goals and demonstrated enthusiasm for a career in engineering.

As part of the scholarship, URS is offering not only financial aid but mentoring support from both the Queensland Regional Manager and the Business Line Manager relevant to the students’ desired area of specialisation.

Programs of study

  • Bachelor of Engineering Advanced (with Honours) [1320]
  • Bachelor of Engineering with majors including Electronic and Computer Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Microelectronic Engineering, and Software Engineering [1311] and [1310]
  • Bachelor of Engineering Technology [1319] and [1318]

Entry requirements

Applicants must be currently enrolled in any of the above programs of study.

Eligibility

To be eligible, students must be enrolled in 80 credit points, have attained a minimum GPA 6 and on track to graduate at the end of the year 2009.
