Information and Communication Technology Scholarships - Canada
Griffith University has up to three (3) partial scholarships each covering part tuition fee for a maximum of two (2) semesters not exceeding AUD$ 1500 per semester. The scholarships on offer are for Canadian International students doing undergraduate or postgraduate degree programs in the School of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Applications inter alia will be assessed on academic merit, demonstrated leadership and personal character.
Applications close on October 31 each year for students commencing in February the following year, and on April 30 for student commencing in July the same year.

Entry requirements
Scholarships will only be available to applicants who:
- are Canadian citizens planning to complete their full-time study in a undergraduate or postgraduate ICT degree program at Griffith
- satisfy all appropriate entry requirements which include results of previous tertiary level studies, secondary school level studies and English language proficiency. - commence as new students at Griffith
- during the study period will not be a holder of any other Griffith scholarships.

Selection criteria
Applicant selection will be based upon:- Strong academic merit. A certified/attested true copy of supporting documentation must be submitted with the application.
- Demonstrated leadership ability. Applications should include at least one professional reference.
- Personal character. Applications should include at least one reference.
- Applicant’s personal statement. The personal statement should include why the applicant has applied for the scholarship, the selected program of study at the School of Information and Communication Technology, Griffith University, and other information they feel strengthens their application for the scholarship.
