The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage year 12 school leavers to undertake undergraduate studies in Information Technology (IT) on a full-time basis. The aim is to assist potential applicants into an IT career path.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Selection will be based on the following criteria:

• the award of a scholarship will be made by the School of Information and Communication Technology on the basis of academic merit
• selection will be based on review and assessment of applications
• the student meets minimum OP entry requirements for their chosen program
• the student should be a recent Year 12 school leavers
• applicants should be Australian citizens or have Australian Residency Status      
• successful applicants must be enrolled or intending to enrol in one of the programs from the table above for Semester 1, 2009.
