General scholarships

This scheme has been developed to aid applicants in not only gaining financial help for study but also to help in getting into a Griffith University course. With the addition of an OP bonus based on equity issues (for Griffith applications only) and the potential for guaranteed entry, this program is aimed at students who have the potential to succeed at a tertiary level but may have had to overcome hardships that have hindered their preparation for entry into the university level of education. The scholarship is a perpetual scholarship funded by The Rotary Club of Gold Coast Central and is awarded annually in accordance with the Club guidelines to a student who has fulfilled the selection criteria.

The SKAL scholarship is designed to assist Bachelor of Business students who have difficulty in undertaking university study because of significant financial hardship.

The Ken Baguley Bursary was established by the Rotary Club of Surfers Paradise Central to honour the founding President of the Club, Mr Ken Baguley.
