ARC Discovery Projects for funding in 2013

About the Scheme

The Discovery Projects scheme provides funding for research projects that can be undertaken by individual researchers or research teams.

Discovery Projects for funding commencing in 2013 include the Discovery Outstanding Researcher Award (DORA), available for Chief Investigators.

Closing Dates

Internal deadline: 5.00pm 2 February 2012

Request not to assess ARC deadline: 16 February 2012

External ARC deadline for Applications: 1 March 2012

 

Rejoinders

The ARC website states that the two week rejoinder period will run in May or June 2012. The Office for Research will send out further information when it becomes available.

 

How to Apply: Step by Step Instructions for Griffith applicants

Discovery Projects are submitted via the ARC Research Management System (RMS).

  • Ensure intended proposal participants have access to RMS
  • Ensure personal details and classification details are correct in RMS
  • Complete the application in RMS
  • Submit the application for internal review
  • Return signed ARC Certification sheets and Griffith Grants Coversheet
  • The Office for Research will review your application and provide feedback
  • Revise the application as necessary
  • Final submission to ARC by the Office for Research
