The Research Development Team pursues opportunities to strategically develop Griffith's research capability. The Team works closely with academic staff to develop major applications to funding bodies to increase Griffith's research income. A key focus for the Team is to maximise success in Australian Competitive Grants and other competitive research funding sources. The Research Development Team assists researchers to develop collaborative research proposals with industry, government agencies, other universities, philanthropic organisations and other partners.
The Research Development Team is staffed by professionals who hold research qualifications, expertise in project management, and have a track record for securing partnerships with government, industry and other external partners.
