Griffith University has been successful in obtaining $2.5 million in funding over 5 years to establish the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Nursing Interventions for Hospitalised Patients. The Centre will trial different treatments, and examine existing research, to find the best ways to prevent these problems arising in Australia's ageing hospital population.
