You are invited to an inspiring afternoon of discovery and networking at Griffith University’s Logan campus Research Showcase on Tuesday 6 September, as a part of Griffith’s Research Week 2011.

The Logan campus has 60 Higher Degree Research (HDR) students currently producing research, and over 90% of staff based at Logan campus is currently involved in research projects, with almost 20% of research staff having the unique opportunity to focus 100% of their time on research (research-only staff). Refreshments will be provided in the late afternoon, and you will have the opportunity to view the posters displaying the remarkable research currently being undertaken these inspiring staff and students.

Hear keynote speaker Sue Pager’s (Queensland Health) overview on translation and building research capacity. Experience a number of case study presentations from Griffith researchers in Health and their industry partners, and participate in a question and answer session which is sure to engage you with Griffith’s community-based applied research.

Staff from the University's e-Research services will also be on hand to demonstrate and answer questions on the University’s new Research Hub, a rich and informative guide to the University's research expertise in a comprehensive array of academic fields.
