Dr. Pamela Wicker is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Management at the Department of Tourism, Leisure, Hotel and Sport Management on the Nathan Campus of Griffith University, Australia. Previously she held appointment at the Institute of Sport Economics and Sport Management (Chair: Prof. Breuer) of the German Sport University Cologne, Germany, where she was awarded a PhD in 2009. Pamela Wicker also holds a Diploma in Sport Sciences (4 years program) with a specialisation in Economics and Management from the German Sport University Cologne. During her time in Cologne, she was a member of the Institute’s board and a module commissioner for the modules Sport Business Administration and Finance Management within the English program M.Sc. Sport Management. She conducted over 20 consultancies for local and national sport organisations as well as for German municipalities. Pamela Wicker has authored and co-authored numerous academic journal articles, books, book chapters, and consultancy reports.
