Ken Butcher has a background in corporate strategy and marketing strategy in services. His current research interests focus on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and how firms can leverage CSR initiatives into broader firm benefits. Current CSR projects include firm motives; impacts on local communities; and effect on consumer responses in the tourism and hospitality sectors. His work has been reported in numerous internationally refereed journals. Ken currently supervises a number of PhD students in the fields of services marketing and corporate social responsibility. His research collaboration in these fields extends to Thailand, Indonesia and the UK.
