Biography
Dr Whitty was appointed as a Lecturer in Health Economics with the School of Medicine in 2008. She practised as a pharmacist for nearly 15 years in hospital and community pharmacy's in both the United Kingdom and Australia, before specialising in the field of Health Economics.Jennifer has particular research interests in the use of discrete choice experiments in health care and priority setting, valuing health outcomes, and in decision-making for pharmaceutical funding. Jennifer is currently involved with a research project seeking to assess decision-making and preferences around chronic heart failure.
