Customise your view of the Griffith Website

The Griffith University Web Style Guide requires all web pages to use the latest design templates for www.griffith.edu.au. Pages will be displayed according to user preferences for onscreen font size and themes to enhance user accessibility. Themes will be offered that enable/disable graphics for low speed connections, and for small screen browsers and for printing.

User Preferences
Text Size

This option will alter the size of all displayed text within the website. Please note this value can also be changed by using the "A- A+" options at the top of any griffith page in the new web style.

Theme

This option will change the styling of Griffith pages to cater for various accessibility issues. More options will be presented to users as they are developed and tested.

The default theme, with black text on a white background.

This theme offers increased contrast, it is recommended for users who have impaired vision.

This theme offers white text on a black background, it is recommended for users who suffer from eye strain.

This theme offers more whitespace.

This theme offers has no styling applyed, it is recommended if you use a text reader, or are running a user stylesheet.

Notes

  1. Not all of the website is immediately available in the new design templates. These areas will be migrated to the new standard as quickly as possible
  2. To store text-size and theme preferences, users must have javascript and cookies enabled in their web browser. If disabled, users will receive a standard presentation of the webpages
  3. Preferences are stored in cookies on the user's current web browser. These preferences will remain between different sessions of viewing the site but will change as users move from one computer to another
